For 100 years, Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing has been a leader in professional nursing education. Graduates receive an associate degree in applied science which qualifies them for RN licensure. Through affiliation with major universities, graduates may apply 60 or more credits earned toward a BS degree. Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing is accredited by the National League for Nursing. Graduates are prepared to practice nursing in a full spectrum of entry level roles from acute care to home care and community health settings.

  • The Hillman scholarship program provides full tuition and related expenses to highly qualified students on a competitive basis. (U.S. citizenship is required) and graduates must practice nursing in the metropolitan New York City area.
  • At least 75% of students entering the program will successfully complete the program in four years.
  • Graduates' licensure exam pass rates (for first-time test takers) will be at or above the state and national means.
  • At least 85% of the graduates will obtain employment within12 months following RN licensure.
  • At least 90% of graduates will be satisfied with the education that they received as evidenced by responses on follow-up surveys
