Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas

1210 Ricebelt Ave
DeWitt, AR 72042

Since its creation in 1965, Phillips community college of the University of Arkansas has been devoted to serving the community as a comprehensive two-year institution of higher learning. From its early days occupying the Naval Reserve Building in Helena, Phillips Community College has expanded to encompass three campuses throughout the state of Arkansas. These campuses -- located in DeWiit, Helena, and Stuttgart -- provide residents with the education and training that they need to make their career and academic dreams come true.

Although this Arkansas college opened its doors to only 250 students at the time, that number has grown to more than 2,400. In order to better provide for this large student body, Phillips Community College has expanded its course offerings to include everything from continuing education and vocational courses to associate degree and transfer programs. From courses in Cosmetology, welding, office technology, law enforcement, and phlebotomy, to classes in business administration, chemistry, pre-law, engineering, and drama, there's a program to suit most any student's needs at this Arkansas college.
