Plymouth State University, established more than 100 years ago, is a comprehensive institution offering undergraduate, graduate, certificate and other programs in a variety of disciplines. Plymouth State offers more than 39 undergraduate program and more than 70 graduate programs for students to take advantage of. Some undergraduate programs include Graphic Design, biotechnology, criminal justice, music education and more. Some of the graduate programs include a Masters of Science in Applied Meteorology, a Masters of Science in Science Education, a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Art Education and many others. Plymouth State University also offers the convenience and flexibility of online programs.

Plymouth State University is located in Plymouth, New Hampshire. The residential campus spanning more than 170 acres, offers numerous state-of-the-art facilities and buildings accessible to students. Among them are the Lamson Library, which offers more than 300,000 volumes, numerous resources and much more. Other facilities include the Carl Drerup Art Gallery, the Hanaway Theatre, the Medieval and Renaissance Forum and more.

Students can take advantage of a diverse range of both on and off campus activities at the Plymouth state college. Intercollegiate athletics for both men and women are offered including ice hockey, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse and more. Plymouth State Universities Athletics are a member of the NCAA Division III. Also accessible to students are more than 70 clubs and organizations such as the Art & Art History Club, Early Childhood Club, Geography Club and much more.

Not only are there numerous on campus activities, but a plethora of off campus recreational, cultural, and historical attractions. Student can enjoy recreational activities on the Plymouth Mountain, in the 780,000-acre White Mountain National Forest, or on the cities numerous lakes. The city offers such attractions as the Plymouth Historical Museum, the N.C.C.A. Papermill Theatre, the Polar Caves Park and more.
