Point Park University is a four-year private
liberal arts institution offering undergraduate and graduate academic programs. Point Park University, founded in 1960, has three schools including the Arts & Science School, the
business School and the
Conservatory of Performing Arts. Some undergraduate programs include early childhood
education,
photojournalism, cinema and digital arts and many more. Point Park also offers numerous graduate programs available in areas ranging from journalism and communication to theater arts.
Point Park University is located in the cultural hub of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Among the many state-of-the-art facilities on this urban campus is the Point Park Library, which features a variety of journals, electronic resources and more accessible to students. Also on campus is the Pittsburgh Playhouse, a performing arts center home to three theatres as well as a professional theatre company and student theatre companies.
