certificate programs in Office Management, Accounting Technician, Practical
nursing, Outdoor Leadership, Health Information Technology, & CISCO networking.
Thanks to collaborative partnerships with other area institutions, Rainy River Community Collegestudents have access to outside programs in areas like Paper Science and Paralegal Studies that aren't offered on campus. Rainy River is also a member of the INEC Nursing Consortium. This partnership allows Rainy River Community College nursing students have the opportunity to make a seamless transition into the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Hibbing.
Students have their choice of living on or near campus and have their choice of six sports teams, an intramural sports program, and six student organizations. Rainy River Community College is also home to a campus chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honors society for two-year college students. In addition to offering academic programs, the school also supports a comprehensive continuing education program designed to fit the needs of the community. Here you'll find customized
business training programs as well as personal development workshops available to the general public.
Rainy River Community College students not only receive academic support in the classroom; they also receive support after class is over. Rainy River Community College provides free academic advising, professional and peer tutoring,
online academic support, writing labs, study rooms, financial aid advising, career counseling, and disability services to students. To supplement classroom study, the school's Service Learning program allows students to put their skills to the test through volunteer opportunities offered throughout the community.
