Reed college, founded more than 90 years ago, is a private comprehensive institution offering undergraduate and graduate and other programs in a variety of disciplines. The diverse range of programs includes art, political science, dance theater, general literature and many more.

Reed College is located in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. The scenic campus spanning more than 100 acres includes numerous state-of-the-art facilities and more than 20 buildings accessible to students. Among them are the Reed College Library, which offers numerous databases, journals, more than half of a million volumes and additional resources. Other facilities at Reed include the Cooley Art Gallery and Ski Cabin located on Mt. Hood. Another unique attribute to the campus is the 26-acre watershed known as the Canyon located in the middle of campus.

Students can take advantage of a diverse range of both on and off campus activities at the Reed College. A diverse range of Sports clubs are offered including rugby, soccer, squash and much more. Student Club and organizations include the Debate Team, Mixed Martial Arts, the Reed Social Dance Club and more.

Not only are there numerous on campus activities, but a plethora of off campus recreational, cultural and historical attractions. Portland is a major city featuring a diverse range of museums, art galleries, ethnic restaurants and more. Some attractions include the Audubon Society of Portland's wildlife nature sanctuary, the Museum of Contemporary Craft, the Oregon Maritime Museum and many others. The city of Portland has also been nationally recognized in 2008 as one of the "Top 25 Arts Destinations" by American Style magazine.
