Located on 132 acres on a former estates in Weston, Mass., Regis College is an over 80-year-old private Catholic College. Founded by the congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boson, Regis is a liberal arts and sciences school that educates over 1,500 students per year. The college was named for its founder, Sister Mary Regis Casserly.

Undergraduates at Regis College have over 20 majors from which to choose, as well as over 25 minors. There are nine Master's degree programs, as well as four-post Master's nursing certificates and a doctoral program in nursing practice. The college was originally founded as a women's college, but started welcoming men in 2007.

Regis College encourages a variety of learning modems outside of the classroom, including internships, community service and study abroad programs. The school has study abroad affiliations with Regents College in London, Loyola University of Chicago in Rome, University of Cork in Ireland, and Notre Dame Women's College in Kyoto, Japan. The college also offers over 30 social, academic and honors organizations from which to choose.

Many of Regis' students live in one of four residence halls. The school says that campus housing is a guarantee to all Regis students.

Each year, over 25 companies and non-profit corporations participate in the college's recruitment programs, resulting in a placement rate of graduates of over 90 percent, with over 75 percent of the college's graduates working in their degree field.
