Reinhardt College is a liberal arts college with a 540-acre main campus located in Waleska, Georgia, just 45 minutes from Atlanta. Reinhardt has a second location in Alpharetta, Georgia. Reinhardt College is associated with the United Methodist Church and has an enrollment of over 1,110 students per year.

Reinhardt Academy was established as a primary through high school in 1883 by Augustus Michael (A.E.) Reinhardt and his brother-in-law, John J.A. Sharp. Reinhardt had lived in Waleska since a child and after serving in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, he returned to his hometown. He and Sharp were both deeply religious and had become political leaders; as well as civic leaders in ensuring Waleska's young people had access to education. The first college-level courses were added in 1885. By 1920, the school had achieved junior college status and Reinhardt offered its first bachelor's degree program in business administration in 1993.

Today, Reinhardt College offers over 20 degree programs, ranging from an Associate degree in nursing to Bachelor's degrees in such fields as art, biology, business administration, digital art and Graphic Design, history, music education, public relations and advertising and sports studies. Reinhardt College also recently began offering a graduate degree in business administration.

Reinhardt offers the choice of seven residence halls on campus. Over 50 percent of the student population live on campus. Many students participate on campus activities, which include dances, service projects, movie and coffeehouse nights. Students also have the option of working for any one of the number of campus publications or with the campus radio station. Reinhardt College also offers a variety of social, academic and honors clubs.
