Research College of Nursing
2525 East Meyer Blvd
Kansas City, MO 64132
The Research College of
nursing, in Kansas City, Mo., is a small, private college, that currently has a Bachelor of Science degree for undergraduates, three programs for graduate students and two programs for Post-Master's students. With a faculty to student ration of eight to one, RCN students are guaranteed the individual assistance all enrollees need at one time or another.
Graduating its first class over 100 years ago, Research College of
nursing now enrolls about 400 students a year, 80 percent of whom are undergraduates, and 20 percent are post-graduates with a career-placement record at about 100 percent. The pass rate at RCN hasn't dropped below 90 percent in several years, thanks in part to the courses being taught by professors and assistant professors rather than graduate teaching assistants.
Sponsored by the Research
Medical Center, a division of Midwest
health care sites, the College of Nursing has current equipment, computer labs and a modern library. With facilities such as these, it's no wonder that the graduation rate and career-placement success is nearly perfect.
