Rhodes college, founded in 1848, is a comprehensive liberal arts institution offering undergraduate, graduate and pre-professional programs in a variety of disciplines. The diverse range of undergraduate programs include international studies, philosophy, modern languages and literature, mathematics and computer science and much more. Graduate degrees include a Masters in Accounting and others. Rhodes College was ranked among the top 50 liberal arts colleges in the nation by U.S. News &World Report's "Americas Best Colleges of 2008."

Rhodes College is located in the beautiful city of Memphis, Tennessee. The Rhodes scenic campus, spanning more than 90 acres, includes numerous state-of-the-art facilities that are accessible to students. Among them are the Paul Barret Junior Library, which features a literary garden and offers numerous archives, special collections, more than 270,000 hard bound volumes and more. Other facilities include the Bryan Campus Life Center and many others.

Students can take advantage of a diverse range of both on and off campus activities at the Rhodes College. The Athletic Department at Rhodes is a member of the NCAA Division III and offers a variety of men's and women's varsity sports including cross country, field hockey, basketball and more. Also accessible to students are numerous clubs and organizations such as the Philosophy Club, the Art Club, the Fencing Club, the Anime Club and more.

Not only are there numerous on campus activities, but a plethora of off campus recreational, cultural and historical attractions as well. The city of Memphis offers numerous attractions including riverboat tours, art galleries, ethnic restaurants and much more. One of the most popular attractions is Grace Land, former home of the legendary Elvis Presley. Other attractions include, American Dream Safari, the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum, the National Ornamental Metal Museum and many more.
