Richland College, part of the
Dallas County Community College District, offers associate degree programs, certificate programs, and continuing education classes. From
high school students looking to get a jump start on their college education to adults looking to add skills to their resume, Richland College is an excellent place to learn and grow.
Richland College offers dozens of majors in a variety of academic disciplines. These areas include:
business and information technology;
engineering technology; ethnic studies, social science, and physical education; health professions; human and academic development; humanities; math and science; teacher preparation; and world languages, cultures, and communications. Students can choose from a host of majors that include business, computers, horticulture, mass communications, journalism, anthropology, philosophy, education, and foreign language.
In 2005, the White House and the Department of Commerce awarded Richland College the Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award, making it the first
community college to become a recipient of this education honor. Although the city of Dallas has always known that Richland College is a great place for students to learn and grow, now the rest of the country knows, too.
