River Valley community college is a two-year comprehensive New Hampshire school that provides its students with lots of support and great programs to succeed. Originally, River Valley Community College was known as New Hampshire Community Technical College-Claremont and officially went through the name change process in early 2008.

Founded in 1968, the main college campus is located, two miles north of the city of Claremont, NH, and situated on 180 acres of land. The setting at this New Hampshire school provides the enjoyment of a rural existence and yet is within easy reach of cultural, business and shopping centers.

River Valley Community College is small enough so that staff and faculty can get to know you, but large enough to offer 35 degree and certificate programs. Many programs involve active learning within the community in which you live. Transfer programs often enable you to save on the cost of your college education.
