Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana provides an education to anyone with the desire to study photography. While most art schools require a portfolio for admittance consideration, the RMSP accepts hobbyists, amateurs and those seeking to begin a photography career alike. The Rocky Mountain School of Photography offers three main programs: Career Training, workshops and weekends. The School of Photography is located in downtown Missoula, the artistic heart of the city, in the historic Higgins building. The digital labs at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography are dual-platform (Mac and PC), with lecture and studio classes taking place at The University of Montana. And while many schools have on-site galleries, or turn their classrooms and hallways into exhibition areas, RMSP founders also opened Gallery Saintonge, a freestanding gallery dedicated to displaying juried, photography shows.
