The Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of nursing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was founded in 1898. Two years later, the class of 1901 graduated five women. Since then, over 1,000 men and women have become registered nurses through Roxborough's program. The School of Nursing is a 21-month program that aims to prepare each graduate for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination.

In the two-year program at the Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, students will study health and wellness theory, medical-surgical nursing, mental health and mother/child care. Each of these areas at Roxbourough School of Nursing allow students to work with actual patients by assessing their medical needs and identify a plan of action in both a clinical and comprehensive medical environment.

RMHSN is accredited by The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. With a pass rate at approximately 90 percent, graduates of Roxborough have gone on to distinguished careers in nearly every area of nursing and nursing education.
