Royal Roads University is a Public university and offers applied and professional programs designed to meet the requirements of the global marketplace. Though many programs are at the Master's degree level, the university also offers undergraduate completion degrees (equivalent to years three and four) and executive education programs. Royal Roads University's innovative learning model mixes short residencies with collaborative Internet learning. This balance of on-campus and Internet learning allows students to engage in their studies with faculty and other students while meeting family and work requirements. RRU also offers international programs that reflect the universities global perspective.

RRU's faculty is made up of business leaders who are committed sharing their knowledge. The campus is located in Hatley Park National Heritage Site in Victoria, British Columbia, a 227-hectare oceanfront setting, just 20 minutes from downtown Victoria.

Royal Roads offers a broad selection of graduate certificate, graduate diploma and executive learning programs, all of which focus on applied, real-world relevance and experience.

RRU's intensive full-year academic cycle means that master's degrees are completed in approximately two years. Undergraduate programs may be completed in two years or through an accelerated 12-month, on-campus format.

Enrolled full-and part-time undergraduates are nearly 1,000 in number, with just over 2,000 full-and part-time graduate students.

Royal Roads University programs are delivered through a combination of Internet-based learning and short, on-campus residencies.
