Flight training as a Part 61 and Part 141 professional flight school and has examination authority by the Federal Aviation Regulations. The flight training school is for students interested in pursuing a learn-to-fly program as well as professional aviators working on advanced pilot training, instructor ratings and certificates.
San Diego Flight Training International programs include international, career, and non-career. The program for international students is a fast and economical start-to-finish commercial program, which includes FAA private, instrument, commercial, and multiengine training. International students can choose to train in the school's modern fleet and select individual FAA certifications and ratings to create a personalized study plan. The career programs include private pilot certificate, instrument rating, commercial pilot certificate, commercial multiengine certificate, multiengine, CFI-certified flight instructor, CFII-certified flight instructor instrument, MEI-multiengine instructor, and ATP-airline transport pilot. There is also a variety of non-career flight training programs available.

San Diego Flight Training International gives students the ability to train seven days a week, at almost any hour of the day, except for the private pilot course. The private pilot course is taught from sun up until sunset.
The flight training school has an excellent safety record.
San Diego Flight Training International owns, operates, and maintains a 19 plane fleet, which includes twin and single engine complex craft, and the newest collection of Cessna 172s in the region. There are also four trainers with Garmin G1000-equipped glass flightdeck.
The flight training school can assist students finance their education. Financing can be obtained through friends and family, home equity loans, credit loans, aviation Career Training loans, and Sallie Mae.
Students can select the one-on-one pilot training program through San Diego Flight Training International and start anytime or enroll into the Airline Direct Academy center and participate in one of two tracks to become a professional commercial pilot. The airline direct program begins January, April, July, and October.
Almost 100 percent of the graduates pass their written exams in the first attempt and over 80 percent pass their practical flight exams in one try.
