Santa Rosa Junior College

1501 Mendocino Avenue
Santa Rosa, CA 95401-4395

Founded in 1918, Santa Rosa Junior College has been dedicated to serving the community through career training and traditional academics for many years. As part of its mission to enable and encourage students in their pursuit of knowledge and skills, this comprehensive two-year institution of higher learning has grown to offer over 140 career programs. These include courses in everything from accounting, automotive technology, and environmental horticulture to classes in Graphic Design, veterinary technology, and website development.

In addition to career programs, through which students receive occupational training and either an achievement certificate or career certificate, this California Community College also offers programs that lead to either an associate of arts degree or Associate of Sciences. For students who wish to one day enter a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university, Santa Rosa Junior College offers the chance to enroll in courses that are the equivalent of the freshman and junior years of traditional college. After eligible students satisfactorily complete these two years, they may then apply to transfer to receive the last two years of their college education at a four-year institution.
