Founded in 1991, the Savannah School of massage therapy trains students for careers as massage therapists through its 600-hour massage therapy program. In addition to high quality career training, students are prepared to take the national certification test administered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Savannah School of massage therapy's massage program teaches students the basics of neuromuscular therapy and energy work techniques. Courses include anatomy and physiology, business practices, complementary modalities, deep tissue, HIV/AIDS education, kinesiology, neuromuscular therapy, pathology, S.O.A.P notes and charting, clinical sports massage, and Swedish massage.

Savannah School of Massage offers continuing education programs, such as pregnancy massage certification. The pregnancy massage certification is a 32-hour course, which certifies students in pregnancy/postpartum massage. Topics covered are anatomy and physiology for pregnancy, benefits of pregnancy and postpartum massage, techniques for this clientele, labor support, aromatherapy for pregnant clients, and relaxation techniques. The course also includes a class notebook and certificate upon completion of written and practicum examination.
