School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography offers two 24-month programs in general diagnostic medical sonography and echocardiography or cardiac ultrasound. The general diagnostic medical sonography program provides didactic and clinical instruction in abdomen, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular technology. Students may also have the opportunity to attend physician lectures and conferences on topics related to ultrasound.
The echocardiography or cardiac ultrasound program's curriculum covers ultrasound imaging of the heart and introduction to stress echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients. Students also learn the basics of fetal echocardiography and have the opportunity to attend physician lectures, cardiology conferences, and interesting case readout sessions conducted by cardiologists.

Graduates of the School of Diagnostics Medical Sonography are eligible to take certifications examinations offered by the American registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
