A two-year institution, Schoolcraft College offers anything from continuing education and associate degree programs to career development and business seminars. Students who wish to earn credit can decide to enroll in a one-year certificate program or a two-year associate degree program.

In total, students can select from over 90 different fields of study. From courses in accounting, aviation, computer graphics, and the Culinary Arts to classes in engineering, history, medical assisting, and theatre, Schoolcraft College caters to almost every individual's interests. Depending upon the course, students may be able to study at the skill certificate, certificate, associate degree, or post-associate degree level.

Students in the Continuing Education and Professional Development program, will find some of the same fields available for study as well as a few additional ones like real estate, teacher recertification, and financial planning. In addition, students of Schoolcraft College will find that some classes are available online or as hybrid courses -- the latter of which combines the best aspects of in-class learning with the benefits of online flexibility.

This community college also gives students the opportunity to transfer two years of associate degree credits towards earning a bachelor's degree from a traditional four-year college or university.

The Michigan Board of nursing has approved the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing programs.

Schoolcraft College is a member of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and the National Junior College Athletic Association.

The intercollegiate programs at Schoolcraft College include men's and women's basketball and soccer, as well as women's volleyball and men's golf.

Schoolcraft College has two on-campus computer labs that available for use by students.
