Located in Oklahoma, Seminole State College serves as a public two-year institution of higher learning that is dedicated to providing community members with the educational and career opportunities necessary for doing well and fulfilling their aspirations for the future. To meet that goal, the Oklahoma community college offers a wide array of courses at different levels of education.

Although located in Seminole, Seminole State College serves students from the following counties: Hughes, Lincoln, Okfuskee, Seminole, and Pottawatomie. Over 2,000 students are enrolled at this Oklahoma Community College each autumn.

At Seminole State College students may choose to enroll in technical and occupational training programs, general education courses, and transfer programs which parallel the first two years of schooling a traditional four-year college or university. Depending on the program chosen, students of the Oklahoma Community College may earn a certificate, associate of arts degree, associate of science degree, or associate of applied science degree.
