Sheffield School of Aeronautics was established in 1948 and is the oldest school for
Aviation training in the
United States. The school has been training aircraft dispatchers longer than its top five competitors and is the most experienced FAA approved school of its kind. Many of Sheffield's graduates work for major domestic and foreign air carriers worldwide.
Sheffield School of Aeronautics offers aircraft dispatcher certification courses that last from two-weeks to six weeks as well as workshops in advanced international flight planning, extended operations and enhanced weather information systems.
