For over 125 years, Shenandoah University has provided undergraduate and graduate-level students in Winchester, Virginia with an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking education. Located 70 miles from the nation's capital, the campus of Shenandoah University sits on 75 acres in the Shenandoah Valley.

Although small, with over 3,000 students enrolled in its six schools, this private, Virginia university offers over 80 degree programs. Areas of study include mass communications, religion, biology, administration of justice, kinesiology, mathematics, initial teacher licensure, business studies, art studies and church music.

Shenandoah University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. As a result, Institute for Church Professions and spiritual life programs are also offered by the university. The Virginia University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
