The SMU Cox School of business is a small, private undergraduate and graduate school that offers a range of programs including a bachelor of business administration, master of science degrees in entrepreneurship, management and accounting as well as several MBA programs. The school also offers certificate programs.

Founded in 1920, the SMU Cox School of business has two locations where students can take classes. In Dallas, there are four buildings on the SMY campus. In Plano, there are four buildings in Legacy business Park.
