Since its creation in 1993, South
Texas College has stood as a comprehensive college that serves the community. From a modest student body of 1,000 during its first year, to the over 17,000 individuals that attend today, South
Texas College has grown in impressive ways. The school has also expanded from its original campus to include four other campuses and centers throughout the state. Locations include McAllen, Weslaco, and Rio Grande City.
Unlike other community colleges, this
Texas college offers, more than just the Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Arts, and Associate of Science Degrees, it also offers the Bachelor of Applied Technology Degree. In total, South
