Spencerian College is a professional allied health, technology and
business school with two locations in Kentucky. Spencerian College has locations in Louisville and Lexington. Spencerian College was founded by Enos Spencer in Louisville in 1892 with the mission to providing students with skills necessary to enter life-long business careers. Spencer's legacy continues today on two campuses. The Lexington campus was founded 105 years after Spencer opened his first campus.
Spencerian College offers students the flexibility to take classes full time or part-time on a Monday-Thursday schedule, allowing students Fridays to work, relax or meet with their professors. Students can either choose to enter a certificate or diploma program or earn an associate degree in a variety of programs. The Louisville campus offers the following health certificate programs: health unit coordinator; ophthalmic assistant; and phlebotomy. Health diploma programs include: clinical assistant; clinical laboratory assistant; limited medical radiography;
massage therapy; medical administrative assistant; medical assistant; medical coding specialist; medical transcriptionist; practical
nursing; and surgical technology. Students may also earn an associate degree in healthcare reimbursement specialist; invasive cardiovascular technology; medical administrative management; medical clinical specialties; medical laboratory technician; nursing and radiologic technology. The Louisville campus also offers the following diploma programs in business administration: office professional; accounting; and executive assistant; as well as associate degree programs in: accounting and management; and business office management.
The Lexington campus offers a variety of allied healthcare programs. Additionally, the Lexington campus offers students the following technology programs: architectural CADD; architectural and civil project design and development; architectural and mechanical project design and development; architectural, mechanical and civil project design and development; civil CADD; mechanical and civil project design and development; mechanical CADD; computer
engineering technology; computer and electronic engineering technology; computer
Graphic Design; computer information systems management; computer repair; drafting; and electronic engineering technology.
Prospective students wishing to apply to Spencerian College must have a
high school diploma or a GED.
