Spoon River College graduates who transfer to other colleges and universities traditionally achieve higher grade point averages than students who begin their college careers at these transfer institutions. The college's participation in the Illinois Articulation Initiative ensures that lower-division general education requirements for an associate or bachelor's degree have been satisfied.
