St. Charles Community College

is a public, comprehensive two-year
community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts,
business, sciences, and career-technical fields. SCC provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational, and entertainment opportunities.
SCC maintains an open-admissions policy providing higher education to all persons who can benefit from its programs and services. Located just west of St. Louis, the college serves the residents of St. Charles County and is the fourth largest of Missouri's 12
Community College districts. Founded in 1986, with its permanent campus opening in 1992, SCC serves more than 11,000 credit students and 59,000 non-credit students annually. Reflective of the overall growth in St. Charles County, SCC enrollment has grown steadily over the past two decades.
The college has a dedicated and experienced faculty as well as a supportive environment for its students. The main tutoring center on campus is free of charge and is equipped with more than 90 computers for student use. There are more than 25 clubs and organizations that offer opportunities for student connections, as well as four intercollegiate sports teams - baseball, softball, and soccer (men's and women's). Additionally, the safe, beautiful campus is completely tobacco-free.
