St. Jerome's University, a public Roman
Catholic university affiliated with the
University of Waterloo, has full-time and part-time students in the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Mathematics. Graduates receive degrees from the University of Waterloo, where St. Jerome's University's 5.4-acre campus is located. Recently the University was selected to take part in the Carnegie
Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Institutional Leadership Program.
St. Jerome's University is a small, close-knit community linked to a larger network.
SJU students have access to all the resources of the University of Waterloo and its other affiliated colleges, including courses, facilities and student services.
SJU is dedicated to academic achievement, the gospel values of love, truth and justice and preparing students to serve the community and Church.
Speech communication, classical studies, religious studies, sociology and political sciences are among the Faculty of Arts programs. Bioinformatics, computer science, applied mathematics and a double degree in
business administration and math are included in the Faculty of Mathematics offerings.

St. Jerome's University offers a Master's of Catholic Thought program that gives students a deeper understanding of the Catholicism.
The Co-Op Mathematics Teaching Option is a double degree combining a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's College. Graduates are certified to teach mathematics at secondary schools in Ontario. During the program, participants take part in 12 months of teaching apprenticeship in high schools.
St. Jerome's University's Beyond Borders program allows undergrads the opportunity to travel abroad and engage in cross-cultural educational experiences. New placements include Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and several countries in Africa.
