St. John Fisher College is a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Rochester, New York. Established more than a half-century ago, the school is guided in the educational philosophy of the Congregation of St. Basil.

Today, St. John Fisher College enrolls more than 2,700 students on its 154-acre campus. St. John Fisher College offers more than 30 undergraduate degree programs in four schools: Ralph C. Wilson School of Education, Ronald L. Bittner School of business, School of Arts and Sciences and Wegman's School of nursing. Degree programs include: adolescence education and adolescence special education, childhood education and special education. In the school of arts and sciences: American studies, anthropology, applied information technology, biology, chemistry, communications/journalism, computer science, economics, English, French, history, interdisciplinary studies, international studies, mathematics, philosophy, physics, political science, psychology, religious studies, sociology, Spanish, sports management and statistics. The school of business offers three degrees: accounting, corporate finance and management. The school of nursing offers two degrees in nursing disciplines. In addition, St. John Fisher College offers 10 pre-professional degrees and more than 15 areas for minors.

The more than 10 graduate degree programs at St. John Fisher College are divided into four schools. St. John Fisher College also offers two doctorate programs in executive leadership and pharmacy.

Students may choose to live on campus at one of the eight residence halls. The halls can accommodate more than 1,400 students and each unit has individual heating and cooling units. A shuttle takes residence students to the main shopping areas of Rochester.

Sophomores with a minimum 3.0 GPA and juniors with a minimum of 2.75 GPA may apply to study abroad to a number of foreign countries. St. John Fisher College is affiliated with the American Institute for Foreign Study and several other study abroad programs. St. John Fisher College encourages students who are studying a foreign language to experience the culture in which their area of study is a first language. St. John Fisher College offers major and/or minor programs in French, German, Italian and Spanish, as well as a cooperative program with that offers Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
