liberal arts education. Students in the pre-nursing program at one of the above colleges will complete 13 hours of electives - at least 6 of which must be in the humanities division; English composition; introduction to philosophy or logic; anatomy and physiology with lab; nutrition; microbiology with lab; psychology; introduction to sociology; life span growth and development; political science; introduction to statistics; dimensions in healthcare; and the human experience.
Prospective students enrolling at St. John's College of Nursing must have the pre-requisite lower level coursework and have a GPA of no less than 2.5. Students must also not have repeated a course more than once; present two professional references; complete a pre-enrollment health screening and complete a personal interview.
