St. Joseph College is a liberal arts college for women located in West Hartford, Connecticut and was founded in 1932 by the Sisters of Mercy in the Roman Catholic tradition. The Connecticut School is New England's only Catholic College for women. St. Joseph College sits on an 84-acre campus along with the Gengras Center, the coeducational Prime Time Program and the graduate school.

The Connecticut school follows calendar semesters and offers bachelor's and master's degrees. Students choose from more than 30 undergraduate areas of study at the Connecticut school, including accounting, environmental studies, Latin, philosophy, religious studies and sociology. Specialized minors at St. Joseph College include art studio, ethics, gerontology, political science and sports nutrition. St. Joseph College is accredited by both the State of Connecticut Board of Higher Education and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Clubs at St. Joseph College are student run. Students hold all leadership positions and receive guidance from a staff or faculty advisor. Opportunities for student involvement at St. Joseph College include joining the Student Government Association, event planning with the Student Programming and Events Council and joining the college chapter of Best Buddies, which creates friendships between students and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
