St. Louis College of Health Careers is a St. Louis, Missouri based Professional School offering health career programs. The St. Louis College of Health Careers offers training programs in massage therapy; practical nursing; respiratory therapy; medical assistant; patient care technician; medical billing; medical massage practitioner; and Pharmacy Technician. The massage therapy program offers either a diploma or a Associate of Applied Science degree. Students learn different modalities of massage therapy, as well as developing a comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of the body, and the effects of massage therapy on the body. Students also learn about the business aspects of being a massage therapist, as well as the ethical practices.

The practical nursing program at the St. Louis College of Health Careers prepares students through a combination of classroom study and lab classes. Busy, working professionals attend small classes during a four-day week. This program is completed in 12 months. Medical assistants are sometimes called the "right hand" of doctors and nurses, assisting medical professionals in hospitals, nursing homes, insurance claims offices and doctors in general practice. Patient care technicians assist medical professionals in drawing blood and performing EEG's. Students who enroll in this course are taught the fundamentals of nursing. Medical billing specialists are the foundation of any financial management team in a medical office or hospital. Students enrolled in this program are taught medical billing programs, accounting and the basics of accounts receivable/payable. In the medical massage practitioner program, students learn the basics of being a medical assistant, as well as the skills necessary to assist in Therapeutic Massage therapy. Pharmacy technician students are educated in assisting pharmacists in a variety of ways.

Prospective students wishing to enroll in one of the programs at the St. Louis College of Health Careers must have a high school diploma or GED.
