St. Louis College of Pharmacy is an independent private non-sectarian fully accredited college located on a five-acre campus in St. Louis, Missouri, for students whose goals are to enter the field of pharmacy. Students seeking a smaller campus with a good reputation in a large city are the types of students St. Louis College of Pharmacy draws, according to their recent surveys.

Due to the close proximity of Illinois, nearly half of the student population hail from that state, with Missouri based students ranking second. The six-year doctorate of pharmacy offered at St. Louis College of Pharmacy has a required 203 hours of study, which are divided into required, elective and practice study in years 3-6. Students at St. Louis College of Pharmacy also have the opportunity to complete their residency programs at the Washington university Medical Center, Barnes-Jewish Hospital or St. Louis Children's Hospital.

In the past few years, administrators at St. Louis College of Pharmacy have invested in making campus life more attractive to students. More than 20 percent of incoming students said a visit to the campus was a deciding factor in their decision to attend St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The campus includes laboratories, classrooms, computer center, library and an auditorium that seats 300. The center of the campus is the 23,000 Student Center with student lounges, the bookstore, and a fitness and recreation center.

Freshmen who are not commuting are required to live in the Residence Hall. Married couples and upperclassmen may also choose to live in Rabe Hall on campus, or one of the many off-campus living choices in the Greater St. Louis area.
