Therapeutic Massage training; an adult
high school program; and a doctor of naturopathy program. Students have the opportunity to earn a Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees from St. Martin's College & Seminary.
The alcohol abuse-counseling program is a 360-clock hour program. Students study: interviewing techniques; psycho-social evaluation; treatment planning; consultation and referral: individual counseling; group counseling; didactic lecturing; family counseling; progress notes/record keeping; crisis intervention; client follow-up and referral (aftercare); familiarization with alcohol and drugs of abuse; differential diagnosis; etiological theory; epidemiological baseline; and rules of conduct and ethics. Prospective students must have a high school diploma or GED and have prior experience in substance abuse counseling.
