St. Martin's University is a Benedictine school in Lacy, Washington, established in 1895 by monks in the Roman Catholic Order of Saint Benedict. The Washington school's campus sits on 300 acres of woodlands, meadows and trails in a spot selected by Abbot Bernard Locnikar in 1893. Olympia, the state capital, is the nearest metropolitan area.

Undergraduate majors at St. Martin's University include business administration, computer science, English, history, mechanical engineering and special education. Minors include economics, international relations, philosophy and women's studies.

St. Martin's University prepares students for life after college. Within one year of graduation, 97 percent of students are employed in jobs related to their major or enrolled in graduate school. Ninety-five percent of education graduates secure teaching jobs within one year of graduating and 100 percent of accounting students are hired upon graduation.

In addition to helping students excel academically, St. Martin's University encourages a feeling of community among students as well as participation in service projects and leadership opportunities. St. Martin's University is an NCAA Division II school with varsity sports including men's and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, track, men's baseball, and women's softball and volleyball.
