St. Mary's Academy & College is incorporated in Kansas under the title of 'The Society of Saint Pius X, Saint Mary's, Inc." The academy and college is owned and operated by the Society of St. Pius X--an international priestly society founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.

St. Mary's College is a private, traditional Roman Catholic, liberal arts school. St. Mary's goal is to develop a student with spiritual, intellectual, moral and social skills. The property is located on 465 acres, nearly 25 miles west of Topeka's state Capitol and 75 miles west of Kansas City.

Since 1978, St. Mary's Academy and College has grown into a community numbering over 2,450. St. Mary's Academy now has over 750 k-12 students.
