St. Norbert College is a Catholic
liberal arts school in De Pere, Wisconsin that was founded in 1898 by Abbot Bernard Pennings, a priest from the Catholic Norbertine Order. Originally, the
Wisconsin School was intended to prepare men for priesthood and became coeducational in 1952.
Undergraduate programs at St. Norbert College are broken into three divisions, humanities and fine arts, natural sciences and social sciences. The more than 30 undergraduate fields of study include American studies, environmental policy, international
business and language area studies,
nursing, and theatre studies. St. Norbert College also offers several minors, including leadership studies, peace and justice, and classical studies.
The
Wisconsin School offers graduate programs in theological studies and education and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. St. Norbert College also provides students with a nationally recognized leadership development program, designed to integrate first-year students in campus leadership beginning with their first semester of school.
