Students can enjoy an enriching summer at one of the United States' most prestigious universities, Stanford University. The Stanford University - Summer at Stanford program is designed to cultivate the exchange of ideas, while also promoting social and recreational activities, such as biking, hiking, tennis, golf, theater and lecture series.

Each summer, high school, undergraduate and graduate students commence on the campus for an array of academic programs. The eight-week high school summer program is dedicated to taking and accumulating undergraduate credits from Stanford University. The selective program is open to high school juniors and seniors as well as dedicated and mature high school sophomores. Students study sciences, humanities, arts and languages.

Stanford University's undergraduate and graduate summer programs are designed as eight or 10-week courses within the schools of humanities and sciences, Earth sciences and engineering. Most of the students who attend the summer sessions are from visiting colleges across the United States as well as around the world, providing a culturally enriching experience. Stanford also promotes cultural diversity through its recreational and social activities. Whether students enroll to get a jump start on their education, catch up on course work, take a class that doesn't fit into their regular course load, or take a class that isn't offered during the normal academic cycles, Stanford University and its faculty are prepared to offer students a well-rounded and intriguing education.
