Stark State College of Technology (SSCT) is a state college with a mission to provide high-value, student-centered associate degrees and professional development. The
Ohio College is dedicated to individual learning, transferable higher education and career success, and aims to advance quality of life through accessibility and
business and community partnerships.
Stark State College boasts a headcount of 8,500 credit students, the largest of any
technical school in the state. It offers 48 associate degrees and 12 one-year certificate programs approved by the Ohio Board of Regents. Approximately 4,000 noncredit students are enrolled in continuing education and contract training activities.
Stark State College prepares individuals to enter fields in
business technologies,
engineering technologies, health technologies, information technologies, public service technologies and general studies. Degrees awarded are the associate of applied science, associate of applied business and associate of technical studies. Stark State College also offers the following degrees in conjunction with Kent State University: associate of arts, associate of applied business and associate of science.
