State Center
community college District provides quality, innovative, and accessible educational programs and services that enhance student learning and global citizenship. Simply known as SCCCD, the district is the college district for Fresno
City College in Fresno, California and
Reedley College in Reedley, California. Reedley College also maintains satellite campuses called North Centers in Clovis, Madera, and Oakhurst.
The State Center
Community College District serves a population area in excess of one million residents and is headquartered adjacent to the
Fresno City College campus in central Fresno. Also part of the District are SCCCD Madera Center, Clovis Center, Oakhurst Center and the Vocational Training Center in southwest Fresno. Classes are also offered at additional satellite campuses in Kerman, Selma, Sanger and Easton.
The Board of Trustees of the State Center
Community College District are elected by the voting public. Trustees are elected at large, but represent six geographic areas. The goal of the District is to respond to the changing demographics, challenging economic environment, and rapidly changing technological advances.
