With nearly 30 years of professional experience, the Sun Institute offers its students a well-balanced, comprehensive curriculum in
massage therapy. Students learn about massage from medical, holistic and scientific perspectives as well as from Western and Eastern points of view.
Students at the
massage therapy school may choose to enroll in a number of programs, including a 600-hour
massage therapy program, a 507-hour
massage therapy program, a yoga therapy certification program or a New York massage therapy program. Programs cover anatomy and physiology, mycology and kinesiology, pathology, body and brain harmonizing therapy, sports massage, reflexology, hydrotherapy, yoga, brain respiration therapy, Ki-Gong, and
business and ethics.
The yoga therapy certification course is offered to both students and the community through the Sun Institute. The 80-hour course focuses on novice yoga positions as well as harmony of the mind, body and spirit. A certification from the Sun Institute is awarded upon completion.
