Located in the foothills of the Catskills in Delhi, New York, SUNY Delhi - College of Technology is a member of The State University of New York 64-public college system. The State University of New York, also known as SUNY is the largest university system in the United States.

Ranked in 2008 by U.S. News and World Report as one of 45 top Baccalaureate Colleges in the north, SUNY Delhi - College of Technology offers more than 60 Bachelor's, Associate and certificate programs. More than 2,800 students attend SUNY Delhi - College of Technology each year.

First year students who come from more than 50 miles away and are twenty-one years of age and unmarried are required to live in one of the residence halls on campus. Residence hall admittance is guaranteed if the student meets the application deadlines. SUNY Delhi - College of Technology offers more than 40 clubs, organizations, fraternities and sororities from which to choose. Due to its proximity to the Catskill Mountains, there are also plenty of activities off campus for students, particularly if they enjoy the outdoors.

Over 70 percent of the students at SUNY Delhi - College of Technology participate in community service, most of which is facilitated by the O'Connor Center for Community Service. The center matches community service needs with clubs and organizations on campus. The highlight of the year for the center is the Campus and Community Service Day in which approximately 200 of SUNY Delhi - College of Technology's students help a community organization.

Established in 1948, the state of New York was the last of the then 48 states to officially establish a university system. The State University of New York system has campuses all over the state, making it one of the most culturally, regionally and academic diverse systems in the country. The State University of New York colleges offers more than 7,600 degree and certificate programs including short-term vocational/technical courses, certificate programs, Associate, Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral degree programs.
