The State University of New York Plattsburgh offers more than 50 Bachelor's degree programs to over 5,550 students in three schools: Arts and Science,
business and Economics and Education,
Health and Human Services. Additionally, the State University of New York Plattsburgh offers more than one dozen Master's Degree programs and postgraduate certificates.
More than 80 percent of the student population hail from New York, but the school also recruits students from more than 25 states and over 50 countries. Students may choose to live in one of the dozen residence halls on campus. In addition to convenient access to al of the campus facilities, the campus is located less than an hour from Lake Placid, Montreal or
Burlington, Vermont. Students at the State University of New York Plattsburgh may also choose to spend a semester or one of their college years in the study abroad program. Students can choose from programs in Australia, England, Italy, Spain, Chile, Mexico or Canada.
