Technical College of the Lowcountry is a public, comprehensive, two-year college that offers hands-on learning in a technical setting. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, TCL serves the rural counties of Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper.

Technical College of the Lowcountry prepares students for transfer to four-year colleges or for careers in technology, business, health, and public service. technical College of the Lowcountry offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs through its four academic divisions: Arts &Sciences, business Technology, Health Sciences, and Industrial Technology. Students can also pursue professional or personal development through continuing education classes.

A variety of workshops and events are available on campus. In addition, students can participate in student government, the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, and professional associations.
