The College of Idaho is a private, liberal arts school located in Caldwell, Idaho, that was founded in 1891. The Idaho school sits on a 50-acre campus that includes an art gallery, an auditorium, an outdoor amphitheater, walking trails and athletic fields. In recent years, the College of Idaho expanded its campus with a student Union building, two residence halls, and a center for performing and fine arts.

At the foundation of the College of Idaho's academic programs is a liberal arts core, which exposes students to the relationships between traditional disciplines. Academic departments at the Idaho School range from Asian studies and education to modern foreign languages and political economy.

Greek life has been a part of the College of Idaho for more than 85 years. Three national fraternities have chapters on campus: Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Sigma and Sigma Chi. Three national sororities also have chapters on campus: Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta and Kappa Kappa Gamma. Student life at the Idaho school also includes an outdoor program, which offers students instruction in activities like fly-fishing, rock climbing and kayaking. Student led outdoor recreation trips are offered throughout the year. The College of Idaho also offers students study abroad opportunities to more than 70 countries. Past faculty led trips have included courses in Cuba, Thailand, Australia, France and London.
