The cosmetology School programs are comprised of individual curriculums. Through the 600-hour skin care therapy program, students will have the opportunity gain knowledge in areas such as esthetics principals and more. The skin care therapy program is devised into the pre-clinical classroom instruction and the clinic learning experience. The pre-clinical classroom instruction is held over 200 hours that is devoted to classroom workshops, where students earn esthetic principles, technical information and professional practices. The clinic learning experience encompasses 400 hours that are spent in the clinic area, where students will gain practical experience. The cosmetology program features a three-phase program called core, adaptive and creative. In core students will learn the basics to begin working with guests. Adaptive builds on the first phase and adds time management, professional service and retailing skills and the art of successful communication. The final phase, creative, takes students through advanced hair dressing and chemical work. The courses available at the Cosmetology School are offered in both the evening and day which provides added flexibility for students. In the Cosmetology School's state-of-the-art facility, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on practical experience in their respected field.
