The Hair Experts barber School is a barber-training program located in Columbus, Ohio. The school is a part of salon Schools Group and was established in 1935 by Beatrice and Mary Bustin. The school has changed owners and changed names, but has had the same management for over 40 years and has grown to the largest beauty school group in Ohio. The Hair Experts Barber School was added to the group in 1986. The Salon Schools Group has schools specializing in barber styling, Nail Technology, SPA and Esthetics.

The Hair Experts Barber School is for people aspiring to be professional barbers. Barbers are always in demand and never go out of style. The 1800-hour program at The Hair Experts Barber School can be completed in as little as 14 months. Students who enroll in the program will study the precision art of barber cutting by studying basic hair cutting, style cutting, hair styling, facial shaving, facials, hairpieces and even how to manage a barber shop. The Karl Road facility also offers a full program in Africentric beauty, including chemical hair straightening, marcelling and hot combs, weaving, hair extensions and hair braiding.

The Hair Experts Barber School blends their program with theory and hands-on training and upon graduating from the program, can apply for their license and go to work in a barbershop, or open one of their own. Prospective students applying to The Hair Experts Barber School would find coursework in people skills, anatomy and science helpful, but there are no admission requirements to enter The Hair Experts Barber School.
