The Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN) is a private school in Toronto. Students completing the 615-hour in-class program graduate with a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition and have earned the designation of Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP), with full qualification to receive the Registered Nutritional Consultant/Practitioner designation (RNC/RNCP).

The hands-on IHN curriculum provides students with leading edge research, innovative coursework, and dynamic approaches to wellness. The diploma program for Applied Holistic Nutrition consists of 19 courses. All courses are required for students pursuing a diploma. Non-diploma students can take individual courses. Each class is three-and-a-half hours plus an estimated two-and-a-half hours of home study.

Nutritional consultants are in high demand. CNPs can find employment in nursing homes, medical offices, fitness spas, education, journalism, health food stores, homeopathic clinics, menu formulation, organic farming, research and development, and many more areas.
