The Institute of Ultrasound Diagnostics in Spanish Fort, Alabama, offers one-week, three-week, three-month, one-year, and vascular courses for individuals seeking a career in ultrasound.

One-week sessions provide continuing education for sonographers needing formal training, preparing for registry exams, or requiring continuing medical education credits.

The three-week curriculum at The Institute of Ultrasound Diagnostics is directed to individuals with a nursing or radiologic technology background. It is recommended that three-week graduates receive direct clinical supervision for an additional three to six months beyond course completion.
